Kallima Paper recently released a publication to show its love and dedication for paper called “Paper is Life.”
Beautifully printed on FSC-certified Kallima Coated Cover C2S, the educational and fun-to-read booklet contains the history of paper along with cool facts like:
Empress Shotoku took a million prayers, printed them on little individual sheets and basically wallpapered pagodas.
Papermaking mills spread through Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries. Still there were no signs of trees being used in the process. What were they thinking? This led to a massive shortage in rags.
