In one of those stories that makes you double-check that it’s not April Fool’s Day (and that it hasn’t been lifted from The Onion), the U.S. Postal Service has announced plans to market its own brand of … apparel.
The forthcoming “Rain Heat & Snow” line (inspired by its tradition of conquering these elements in the pursuit of its duties) will be produced by WahConah Group in Cleveland, and will feature jackets, headwear and other items that allow “integration of modern technology devices such as iPods,” according to The Washington Post.
The USPS plans to sell its clothing and accessories in “premium department stores” and specialty shops, but not in post offices because, you know, that would just be silly.
