Unique wedding programs are a rare treat, which is why this piece is so delightful. Its form and function are beautifully married to create a keepsake actually worth keeping.
Five diecut panels, made from Silver Ore Cover and secured with a silver grommet and black silk tassel, open up to reveal a fan. The only adornment on the outside is a red Chinese character. (Seeing everyone holding the fans must have been a wonderful sight from the front of the church.)
Inside, each blade of the very usable fan was printed with a separate element that gave this wedding program a personal and unique style: a title page with date, location and name of the bride and groom; order of the ceremony; names of all in the bridal party; a Dallán Forgaill poem; and a thank you letter from the couple.
Elegant typography and a subtle scrollwork pattern at the bottom of two panels keep the fan simple and refined.
