The runup to Graph Expo 2014 has seen a flurry of inkjet paper introductions, with Appvion coming out slightly ahead of the curve with this news: the launch of Appvion Treated High-Speed Inkjet Paper. Designed for web-based inkjet printing, the new sheets have been qualified on Ricoh, Screen and Canon-Océ presses among others. The treatment allows for the use of either dye-based or pigment-based aqueous inks, according to the PR murmurs.
The new paper is available “in a 24 lb. bond/60 lb. text weight, with additional weights to be added to the product line soon.”
In addition, the paper features:

- Dry-quickly design
- Acid free/elemental chlorine free (ECF)
- FSC-certified versions available
