Art Ball 2014 Catalog & Program

Certain moments in history are brilliant examples of creativity. 1920s Paris is such a time. Using it as the theme for their annual fundraising gala, the design team at the Dallas Museum of Art, set the perfect tone inside the pages of their Art Ball 2014 Catalog and Program.

It’s all romance with richly tactile Crane’s Lettra uncoated paper adorned with the shine of gold foil stamping on the covers. The floral patterns used throughout the perfect bound program are beautiful examples of the transition from Art Nouveau to Art Deco during this decade.

A purple and gold palette highlights the glamour of the period while the well-chosen typefaces reflect the energy and elegance also characteristic of this time.
