Granted it’s been (mumble, mumble) years since we received a school yearbook of our own, but we’re pretty sure it didn’t feature an intricate paper cut on the cover. [More Cool Designs can be found here.]
Designed by Mobo Bookography, this yearbook for the Stella Duce 1 High School in Yogyakarta, Indonesia – “The Masterpieces” – boasts a 3-layer “paper-cut tunnel system” illustration of Srikanda, a female warrior from the Hindu epic “Mahabharata.”
As this is a girls-only school, Srikanda is an inspiring choice, and shown off to best effect on what amounts to a truly inspiring cover.
