GPA made an addition to its collection of Ultra Digital Synthetic Substrates: Double Opaque and Near Dead Opaque Styrene for HP Indigo presses.
Styrene comes in a 10-mil thickness with a matte/matte finish in 12 x 18 sheets. The opacity options are Double Opaque, which allows some show-through depending on the light source, and Near Dead Opaque, which is ideal for two-sided signage due to its high opacity.
Styrene is FDA approved for indirect food contact and can be die cut and thermoformed. It is HP Indigo and RIT certified HP Indigo presses. The ink holdout has earned RIT’s Triple-Star rating for ink adhesion on the HP Indigo 5000 and 5500.
