Sweden’s Arctic Paper sprung its three-item AP-Tec portfolio on the public this month, all taking advantage of its Mirroblade coating technology, which adds a higher bulk to the finished product. “The properties of the new AP-Tec products offer enhanced performance during packaging production and aesthetic advantages to the packaged product on the retail shelf,” said Jaana Ahlroos, product manager coated products at Arctic Paper, in a statement admittedly lacking in details.
Here’s the lineup:
AP-Tec Liner: coated, fully bleached liner with high whiteness, recommended for preprint and lamination on corrugated board.
AP-Tec Pack: double-sided, coated solid board in high whiteness, for smaller packaging.
AP-Tec Flex: coated packaging paper in high whiteness, especially suited for extrusion, lamination and flexible packaging.
