Finding an appealing paper with impeccable “green” credentials is pretty easy these days; finding one for web-fed inkjet printing, however, is another matter. Well nuts to that, Cascades said at the PRINT 13 show this month, as it released North America’s first 100% post-consumer waste (PCW) inkjet sheet.
The 92 brightness Cascades Enviro Jet is aimed at direct mail, transactional documents and books, offering excellent performance on both dye ink and pigment presses. It comes in 20 lb., 24 lb., 28 lb. and 32 lb. basis weights. And Cascades being Cascades, the paper is FSC certified, processed chlorine free, and is all produced using renewable biogas energy.
