Domtar announced today that it’s started the ball rolling in divesting itself of Ariva US; Lindenmeyr Munroe – a division of Central National-Gottesman – will be acquiring it. Ariva’s Canadian operations will not be affected.
Shortly after that announcement, Central National-Gottesman turned around and said it would sell the Midwest portion of that business to The Millcraft Paper Co. Those markets include Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati, Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
