Sorry, mom, but you’re gonna have to make do with an Amazon gift card this Mother’s Day. We can’t quite see spending $450 for Gilded Age Greetings’ 23-karat-gold-accented card depicting exotic birds against nighttime sky, limited edition or not. It’s pretty, certainly, and the silk-lined presentation box is no less than we’d expect for a piece of paper craft with this high a price tag.
(The fact that our Web browser flashes a “This Connection is Untrusted” message when we go to click on the Gilded Age Greetings Web site doesn’t help, either.)
