Return with us now to 2009 – the year after we all discovered the economy zigged while the rest of us zagged. All of us that is, except for Facebook, which managed to splash out on a pretty cool paper gift for its best advertising clients.
This 19-by-19-inch poster was printed on Neenah Paper’s 110 lb. Crane’s Lettra Pearl White, embossed and foil stamped. And to encourage recipients to donate to the charity of their choice, the poster was accompanied by a silkscreened 1/8-inch plywood token, complete with a unique code that, when entered at DonorsChoose.org, would donate $75 of Facebook’s cash to the charity of the user’s choice.
