Nine videos in and the fine people at Sappi Fine Paper show no sign of slowing down with “Off Register,” their series of 3-4 minute comedy videos that subject aspects of the print industry to the ridicule they so richly deserve.
The latest, “Certifiably Sick,” skewers the myriad environmental standards the industry is bombarded with, as well as the lemming-like clients who expect them to be followed the moment they make headlines. In this case, “SICK” is actually “Sustaining Inner Corporate Kindness,” a standard that quickly gets out of hand.
As a tag at the end of the videos explains, each is “inspired by actual events, but has been fictionalized for dramatic purposes.” Don’t be fooled. There’s far more truth than fiction in this one.
