Pantone's First Brand Campaign

pantone_125Pantone has been around for so long and been such a big part of our everyday professional lives, perhaps it may come as a surprise to some that the company has never actually launched a brand campaign before. That all changed this month as ad agency Sub Rosa rolled out “Make it Brilliant,” the first campaign to make people aware of the color company’s vast line of products.

The advertising blitz consists of a single graphic, with each portion of the image pitched toward a different audience, as MediaPost.com explains:

Through light and prop placements on display triptychs used in ads, Sub Rosa visually conveys a one-dimensional experience in the left triptych for Graphics, a two-dimensional experience in the middle triptych that represents Fashion & Home, and three-dimensional space in the third triptych representing Industrial Design.”

The 3-in-1 image is being circulated through Pantone’s own Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest feeds, as well as in print ads in HOW, Graphic Design USA and PRINT magazines.
