It’s nearly Halloween and we haven’t had so much as a rattling skeleton or inappropriate political mask around the halls of PaperSpecs Towers. Fortunately, Shut Up Cartoons comes to our blood-soaked rescue with another version of a popular horror movie trailer…created using expertly cut pieces of paper.
This time out, it’s the trailer for the why-another-remake remake of Brian De Palma’s 1976 classic, “Carrie.” (OK, technically it’s a screen adaptation of Stephen King’s novel, but potato, potahto…) And as usual, “Paper Carrie” is a pretty accurate reconstruction of the trailer we’ve been bombarded with in the run-up to the movie’s Oct. 18th premiere. (I don’t even have a TV and I’ve seen it at least 3 times – yeesh.)
Pass the paper and poor the pigs blood…
