GPA announced the winners of its Sixth Annual Printed Sample Contest, which is designed to recognize outstanding work by GPA’s customers.
PaperSpecs’ own Sabine Lenz joined Howard Owen, president of Stafford Printing (Stafford, VA) and Michael Johnston, principal at Top Graphics (Maryland Heights, MO) as the distinguished panel of judges in this year’s competition.
Companies across the country submitted their printed pieces on GPA substrates to compete in six product categories for Best of Category and Best of Show.
G2 Graphic Service of Southern California won Best of Show in the Ultra Film Non-Adhesive Films category for their interactive makeup tutorial printed on White ClingZ with Versaliner II.
The ClingZ sheets were printed, die and kiss cut, spiral bound to a folding base and sold in high-end makeup kits. The individual guide sheets can be placed on a mirror showing the pictured look, then cleanly removed and reattached to the backer sheet until the next use.
