Making good on last month’s promise, New Leaf Paper this week unveiled Reincarnation 100, the first coated paper made in the USA from 100% post-consumer waste. This is quite an achievement; 10% to 30% PCW is about the best that most coated recycled papers have achieved in the U.S. so far.
Further shoring up its environmental bonafides, Reincarnation 100 became the first 100% PCW coated paper made in the U.S. to achieve the Ancient Forest Friendly designation, “the highest independent standard for sustainability in the paper industry” according to the company.
