Playing with your food is universally frowned upon, but incorporating food into your design? Well, that’s another bowl of fruit. Oranges, in particular.
Seeking to promote how ubiquitous a newspaper in Shizuoka, Japan is, the creative minds behind its advertising campaign had posters made using satsuma oranges (marketed here as “cuties”), which are also pretty much everywhere in Japan.
The result: a mock-up of the newspaper’s front page made up entirely of pieces and cross-sections of the fruit. Scrumptious!
