Studio on Fire is probably one of the most aptly named design and letterpress companies in the business. While their designs don’t please every taste every time, they tend to get some of their best results when developing one simple idea into a minor letterpress masterpiece.
In the case of Dogwood Coffee, SoF, which prints their labels, came up with a poster to commemorate the release of Dogwood’s Zamboni Cold Brew, based on the original 1971 patent for the famed hockey-ice cleaning machine of the same name.
The final design was letterpressed using two inks on Neenah Paper’s Crane’s Lettra Ecru 110 lb. Cover.
