The corporate social responsibility (CSR) report seems to be more visible of late. It’s an important communications vehicle – the way that a company publicly holds itself accountable for its actions internally and externally.
And for that reason, CSR reports can be tricky to pull off successfully. This one for Fairmount Minerals strikes all the right design chords.
It’s small (5.5 x 8); well laid out, but not flashy (the only “glitz” being the tasteful blind embossed title “One By One”); personal (no slick, glossy coated paper here); and sustainably minded (Mohawk Options 100% PC stock and inks that are 30 percent vegetable-based).
The copy is crafted clearly using just the right amount of statistics while still making you feel the human side of a company striving for its best self… “One person. One team. One outstanding organization. One company. One commitment. One by one. It’s the little things that add up to make a big difference.”
And all the little things added up here to make one outstanding CSR report.
