On their website, Charlotte, NC’s Centerfold Agency puts forth a strong (if quirky) image of itself, right down to three of its four designers being depicted wearing football helmets. It comes as no surprise, then, that its business card is every bit as chunky as that image. Screen printed in two colors (white and black) on 140 lb. French Muscletone (of course) Cover by the always amazing Mama’s Sauce, it was then die cut into the ceramic-tile-esque pieces you see here.
All Centerfold wanted was a calling card, and boy did they get it. Look at how that white stroking works with the rich black drop shadow to seemingly pluck the letters from the sheet. A close-up of this business card is helpful to really appreciate how the whole is greater than the sum of its parts here:
Meanwhile, the back of this business card is all business, but neatly so – contact details and social media handles right where you need them:
As Centerfold’s Nick Irwin confided to Mama’s Sauce:
“[The] thicker card serves as a weapon if needed (never know when you’ll have to MacGyver your way out of a situation).”
Very true…
