It was important to find the perfect material to mirror the overall feel and theme of the event. Without the use of this paper, the invite would have produced a completely different feel.
Madalyn Marie Creative provided beautiful and thoughtful solutions to the design challenges presented by this charity gala invitation for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation.
Using the event’s farm-to-table dinner theme as inspiration, the design elements stress the new casual feel and location for the gala by using a perfect combination of paper (Neenah Environment), rustic fonts, earthy palette, and leafy illustrations. The four-color photo printed on the Desert Storm paper color might seem like a risky move, but the result was stunning.
The poster-like quality of the invite has a custom diecut with cross-fold finish. The unique format reveals event information one step at a time allowing the viewer to read at his or her own pace. Almost completely text based, the invitation remains visually interesting thanks to the juxtaposition of different typefaces and hand-drawn elements.
