Pocket Wedding Invitation

296-pocket-1

Pockets contain all manner of surprises – a long-forgotten, tightly wadded-up dollar bill; the clever business card you swore you filed; that lint-covered emergency breath mint … components of a lovable, whimsical wedding invitation.

Taking inspiration from the photo of a wine bottle label sent by the bride-to-be, these designers created a light and contemporary invite.

Three cards (RSVP, map and reception details) are stacked together in the simply constructed pocket. Each card has a portion of the floral graphic, which steps upward to create one full image (inventively delightful).

The main players in the warm color palette (a modern cream and grey) come from the stock  – White Howard Linen and Stone Royal Fiber (the Stone sadly discontinued).  A splash of flowerful yellow, green and orange add life and brightness.
