For 18 years, New York photographer David Prince has been capturing inspiring images of food, interiors, fashion accessories and more. To showcase some of his most intriguing works, he partnered with Brilliant Graphics in Exton, Penn. to design and print his latest portfolio, relying on Mohawk Options papers to capture every glorious detail.
Options uses Mohawk’s Inxwell technology to combine the feel of uncoated paper with the ink density and sharp detail of a coated sheet – a particularly affective choice when pairing that rough feel with the texturized image on the cover.
Prince explains “From the fringe on an artfully draped shawl to the fins of a delicate mushroom, every grain, wrinkle and crack is visible in all its minute glory.”
The addition of an aqueous coating to the traditional 4-color process also creates an added layer of protection to Prince’s beautiful work, while the cover wrapped loosely around the stacked, folded text signatures enables you to snag favorite images for display without damaging the volume.
