This printing company waxed poetic on Valentine’s Day to introduce its new digital press … “Roses are red. Violets are blue. Look at all the cool new things we can do for you!”
This self-promotion is sweet in more ways than one. There are the delicious Pearson’s Mint Patties tucked inside. What client can resist chocolate?! Then there’s the design of the outer box, a dimensional mailer digitally printed with 4-color and white ink on the rich color and texture of Red Pepper Classic Crest Linen.
But the most scrumptious part of this promo piece is the brochure. An information sheet is printed one side on 100 lb. white GPA Ultra Digital Text. That sheet is diecut with wide perforations. The perfs act as scores would and allow the info sheet to be intricately folded. Once glued inside a cover (also made of the Red Pepper Classic Crest Linen), the info sheet pops open like an unfolding flower, then neatly collapses again when the brochure is closed.
