This invitation for an elite event (Food & Wine Classic in Aspen) exudes indulgence and exclusivity from every fiber of its printed being – thanks to elegant design elements, yummy stock choice, and a binding method with a tasteful surprise.
With the soft, velvety feel of Black Touché Cover, the design table was set for a sensuous food and wine gathering at Inspirato (a members-only luxury destination club). The large (9″ x 9″) square format immediately grabs your attention. There are no images. Rendered with silver and black foil stamping, it’s strictly type and a small logo, which serves up a lovely dish of understated elegance.
The binding is definitely the 5-star element here. A small roll fold on the left side produces a smooth finished edge and allows a single sheet to be bound in as the cover. Securing it all together is the ingenious use of a black elastic band and silver h’ordeurve pick. Just scrumptious!
