Peacock Parfumerie Packaging

317-peacock-1

Packaging like this sweet shadow box from an artisan perfume jewelry house is a feat of structural engineering and design panache. With a nod to its vintage glamour inspiration, the package is impactful, chic and luxurious at every score, tuck and fold.

The Neenah Environment PC uncoated packaging board was the foundation for a double-hit of black, spot colors (a unique one for each fragrance), dull aqueous coating, gold foil stamping, diecutting, folding and gluing. Whew! (Now imagine withstanding the additional shelf wear at hundreds of retailers and showrooms).

As a whole, the design expertly captures the personality of the brand. Intricate foil stamping on the front panel reflects a romantic and glamorous feel. The gold foil contrasts beautifully against the black and PMS color. The font and embellishments are feminine and alluring.

All the content and many design elements fit perfectly onto this small and complex dieline. And applause is in order for the seamless crossover pattern that extends over the four frames to form the window box for the inside tray.

Peacock Parfumerie Packaging was featured as a Paper Inspiration.
