The Reusable Christmas Card

For those among us who have made recycling an integral part of life, this Christmas card will definitely hold an appeal for you … and him … and her … and them … and her. This unusual greeting is meant to be reused, sent from one recipient to the next, much like those internal office memo envelopes, only much more stylish.

Split Design’s communal card uses a recycling symbol as the graphic shape for the tree. Letterpress printed on uncoated card stock in green and gold, the visual is clean and attractive.

The designers thought of everything to make sending the card easy – labels for the new addresses and diecut circle stickers to seal the aluminum tin that holds the contents. Love that they used the tin rather than an envelope as it adds a bit of shine. And for the lucky last person on the list, it’s perfectly reusable for stashing vitamins or jewelry or …
