Karman Folder

Inspired by the year the company was founded (1948), the designers of this capacity pocket folder honed in on the simple-but-elegant style and restrained grace of the times.

Green undertones of the putty and the depth of the chocolate are well-placed colors in this palette.

Crane’s Lettra Fluorescent White 110 lb. Cover lends a wonderful tactile quality that adds richness to the character of the piece. It also serves as a great substrate for the lovely foil and embossing treatments.

The overall feel of the folder captures the pride, spirit and heritage of the client’s Colorado-based company. Attention to detail on the gussets and bleeds and the tailoring of a stout offset wrapped tab closure suggest a quality product. (They accomplished this by designing extra width on the tab, which was folded over and glued for a double thick effect.)

A well-constructed pocket folder that is stylish and useful speaks volumes about the quality of this purveyor’s western wear and brand.

Karman Folder was featured as a Paper Inspiration.
