Tanner Woodford

Founder/Executive Director, Design Museum of Chicago

As an artist, Tanner paints optimistic, typographic, and larger-than-life murals. His work has appeared at the WNDR Museum and Soho House Chicago.

In 2012, he founded the Design Museum of Chicago, which has hosted hundreds of public programs and engaged with millions of visitors. He currently teaches “Design Thinking For Social Change” at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
