NEWS: PaperSpecs Presents Free Webinar: Pop-Ups: Adding Interactivity & Surprise to Your Designs
Palo Alto, Calif. – July 5, 2022 – Something magical happens when you take the traditionally 1-dimensional art of print design and usher it into the 3-dimensional world through the creation of pop-up books, cards and other creations – especially when you introduce elements of interactivity into the mix, too.
On July 21, 2022, during the next free PaperSpecs webinar, Simon Arizpe, one of the most exciting paper engineers working today, will take us behind the scenes of some of his most popular pop-up creations, including the recently released “From Forest to Forest” pop-up book published by Sappi. Designers will discover insightful tips for including pop-ups in their own work, as well as an inspiring peek behind the scenes at Simon’s fascinating creative process.
“I’m sure I’m not the only designer who looks at beautiful pop-up creations and thinks ‘I’d love to do something like this but there’s no way I ever could.’ But as Simon will show us, any designer can learn the fundamentals of this art form,” explains Sabine Lenz, founder of PaperSpecs. “All you need is a basic understanding of the principles, and some pointers from a master of the craft like Simon Arizpe.”
