Dimensional Marketing: How To Stand Out in the Crowd
Thursday, July 10, 2014
2:00 p.m. Eastern (11:00 a.m. Pacific)

In this free PaperSpecs webinar sponsored by Kallima® Paper, guest speakers Rob Kelly and Mary Ann Konishesky from the award-winning company Structural Graphics show designers and marketers how they can create unique dimensional printed pieces that break through the marketing clutter.

Palo Alto, California – June 26, 2014 – What are three creative and effective examples of three-dimensional printed marketing pieces used by some of the world’s most influential brands to engage their audiences?

  • Nationwide’s sales aid featuring LED lighting inside a Popper® mechanism
  • Marc Jacob’s media kit with a cube that pops out when opened
  • Whirlpool’s “magnifying glass” magic reveal trade show invitation

“The biggest problem for marketers today is getting noticed amid all the media channels vying for our attention,” says Sabine Lenz, founder of PaperSpecs. “Three-dimensional print marketing solves that issue because it’s interactive, unique, tactile, and fun.”

PaperSpecs is offering a free webinar to show designers and marketers the range of creative possibilities with three-dimensional marketing.

Guest Speakers
Structural Graphics, a pioneer in the three-dimensional marketing industry, has been designing and engineering engaging marketing solutions for brand names large and small for over 38 years. The company has been recognized with numerous industry awards for work done with Samsung, Sprint, Nationwide, Whirlpool, GAP Athleta, Chick-fil-A, and others.

“We’ve asked two key creative team members at Structural Graphics – Rob Kelly, senior designer and paper engineer, and Mary Ann Konishesky, business development director – to give us an inside look at how these amazing pieces are conceived and created,” explains Lenz.

Webinar Highlights
During the free webinar, Kelly and Konishesky will show examples of unique dimensional marketing pieces and offer practical tips for creating your own. They’ll answer the questions their clients ask most:

  • How do I use dimensional marketing? (direct mail, sales aid, packaging, point of purchase, lead generation)
  • What format is best for my client? (standard vs. custom)
  • Who uses dimensional marketing? (companies, industries)
  • Is the extra cost worth it? (results, ROI)
  • What design considerations are important? (paper and postage)

“Whether you’re launching a new product, trying to generate sales leads, or working to improve brand awareness, you need to get people’s attention if you want to engage them,” says Konishesky. “Dimensional print continues to deliver results that other forms of electronic marketing simply can’t because digital can’t ‘touch’ an individual in quite the same way.”

Kelly loves manipulating paper into never-before-imagined shapes and draws on his training in electronics and animation to create new uses for his clients’ dimensional pieces. “I’m fascinated by kinetic energy and draw constant inspiration from playthings and magic. Anything that can amuse, surprise or entertain influences my work.”
