2:00 p.m. Eastern (11:00 a.m. Pacific)
In PaperSpecs’s upcoming free webinar sponsored by HP Graphic Arts, the secret behind Coca-Cola’s 2,000,000 unique packaging designs – and how you can scale it for your marketing efforts – will be revealed.
Palo Alto, California – June 11, 2015 – At any other time, this type of marketing campaign would be the stuff of dreams: perfect in theory, but impossible in scope. How could anyone create 2,000,000 one-of-a-kind labels for a product of various sizes, print them, then offer the consumer a t-shirt or phone case that matched his or her one-and-only design?
This is precisely what Coca-Cola Israel did for its 2014 “Stay Extraordinary” campaign. Hadar Peled Vaissman, who manages the Creative Applications department at HP Indigo Division, will take us behind the scenes and reveal the new technology that made the campaign possible in PaperSpecs’s free webinar, Secrets Behind 2,000,000 Unique Coke Designs.

Using HP Indigo’s innovative printing technology and a special algorithm, the soft-drink giant took versioning to extreme heights in order to forge the highly effective one-to-one relationship with its fans. The algorithm created a new design technique that auto-generates millions of different patterns with no need for human intervention.
“It’s mind boggling,” says Sabine Lenz, founder of PaperSpecs.com, “but so exciting when you think about how designers and marketers in smaller companies are going to be able use the technology to create their own unique products and packaging.”
Guest Speaker
As well as the branded merchandise, Coca-Cola’s complex campaign also tied in point-of-sale stages, hundreds of uniquely designed billboards, and an online portal that gave fans the chance to create a cup identical to their bottle label.
“The marketing potential for this type of individuation is tremendous,” explains Vaissman, “and we can’t wait to see how designers take the technology to its fullest creatively.”
Webinar Highlights
During the webinar, Vaissman will show attendees how Coca-Cola used the system to achieve its successful results and share other creative examples of personalized packaging and products. Highlights of her presentation include:
