Guest Speaker
As a paper engineer, Iain Smyth has the intricacies of creating amazing pop-ups down to a fine art. In Pop-Up Magic: Design That Packs a Punch Smyth takes you behind the scenes to see how his creations go from initial sketch to pop-ups that amaze every time.

Webinar Highlights
Highlights of this presentation include:

  • Why you should capitalize on the pop-up trend right now.
  • The steps to creating a pop-up that thrills.
  • Guidelines for picking the right paper for your pop-up project.
  • An overview of the printing and production processes involved.
  • Examples of pop-up designs that will intrigue and inspire you.

Added Bonus Gift One of Smyth’s most impressive creations is the water lily, a pop-up concept inspired by an animation that Andreas Östlund at Magoo 3D Studios created for Iggesund Paperboard. They then asked Smyth to bring the animated water lilies to life. Smyth’s water lilies were so popular that when they were shown in Iggesund’s booth at Luxe Pack Monaco, three ‘disappeared’ within the show’s first hour.

Attendees of Pop-Up Magic: Design That Packs a Punch will have the chance to construct one of these must-have water lilies of their own. One hundred lucky attendees of the live webinar will receive this special gift from Iggesund Paperboard.

PaperSpecs webinars are developed to include inspiring real-world examples, highly useful and easily implemented tips, cutting-edge perspectives from industry thought leaders, and the results of the most current research.

Thanks to the generous support of Iggesund Paperboard, Pop-Up Magic: Design That Packs a Punch is free and open to the public. Space is limited, however, so be sure to reserve your seat today for this special event att www.paperspecs.com/paperspecs-webinar-signup/.
