Weekly Quiz: What Type of Printing Creates the Illusion of Movement?

Answer: Lenticular!

Images are basically cut into strips and printed in precise alignment with a lenticular lens. This might look very fuzzy on a flat piece of paper, but viewed through the pattern of the lenticular screen, you will see a different image depending on your angle of observation.

Lenticular printing can come in handy when you want to:

  • Show off “before” and “after” images
  • Create eye-catching retail displays
  • Feature the same product in various colors
  • Include multiple products in the same space
