Somewhere in Manhattan, people are beginning their workday under the watchful eyes of Earth’s mightiest heroes. Along one wall, a life-size Spider-Man swings into action against a backdrop of familiar friends and fiends. On another, a larger-than-life Captain America stoically surveys the challenges ahead while a montage of his greatest battles plays out behind him. And lest you think Marvel would do any less for its television heroes, think again, true believer: The Defenders get the comic-panel treatment with images featuring Jessica Jones, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, in both their television and comic book iterations. All were printed on HP PVC-free wallpaper. The effect is startling, as if you’ve fulfilled the daydreams of children (and quite a few adults) everywhere by walking into a comic book world.
