Regent Seven Seas Explorer Invitation

How do you mark the launch of the world’s most luxurious cruise ship? You begin with an invitation equally as luxurious, crafted from tactile paper combinations that surprise and delight. Gold foil flows like champagne, adding an extra touch of elegance.

Designed and produced by our friends at Fastkit Luxury Packaging [projects / website], the invitation for the Regent Seven Seas Explorer arrives in a book-style box wrapped with Mano by Corvon. Its soft-touch finish instantly makes a haptic impact.

The ship’s name is tastefully Hot Foil Stamped in Gold on the lid. This further enhances the sense of the luxurious.

Opening the lid reveals a textured folder that grabs attention with its alligator-like impression. This effect, created by Neenah Pellaq Snakeskin paper, is further enhanced by Gold Hot Foil.

The folder’s Black ribbon ties on the edges elevate the experience, making it feel more like a royal summons than a cruise invitation.

A Tactile Journey Through Luxurious Details

Inside the box, a Black flock paper, mounted to a 17 pt. Black board, adds another layer of tactile luxury. This thoughtful detail reinforces the premium nature of the cruise experience.

By now, any recipient is ready to pack their bags.

And opening the folder certainly does not disappoint.

The invitation, hand-tipped on the inside front cover, is Hot Foil Stamped on Neenah Classic Crest Solar White. [PaperSpecs PRO members: Get Free Swatchbook!].

On the opposite side, a Black Mano by Corvon envelope, Gold Hot Foil Stamped with the word “Details,” unveils the christening gala invitation and RSVP card.

The sharp, plunging envelope die cut frames the Gold gala invitation beautifully, while also suggesting the bow of a ship.

Impeccable Craftsmanship

Offset printed on Gold Gmund Treasury History, the gala invitation includes a gorgeous Blind Embossing at the top and a detailed, Blind Embossed seal at the bottom.

But the real highlight is the booklet about the ship and its maiden voyage. Offset printed on Mohawk Superfine White, it features a shimmering Gold Gmund Treasury History cover, held together by a trendy Singer-sewn binding.

The crowning touch is the small seal tip-on at the bottom edge of the cover – a square patch of Mano by Corvon with White and Gold Foil. Every little detail, from textured papers to luxurious finishes, cries out “luxury.”

The only disappointment? I received this stunning invitation seven years too late! 😉
