Symposium. The word conjures up a very serious (very stuffy) atmosphere. But this event became a treasure hunt thanks to an inspired design for this pocket guide to show exhibitors.
At 3.875 x 5, the piece (printed on GPA Ultra Digital Text and Cover) is easy to carry or slip in your pocket. But don’t let the small size fool you. Glued inside the front cover is a 28-page, saddle-stitched booklet containing descriptions of all show exhibitors.
Glued inside the back cover is a foldout treasure map depicting the location of each exhibitor’s booth along a winding desert island path. Attendees would visit each vendor and have their map stamped. Once all the stamps were gotten, their last stop was at the event organizer for a chance to win a prize.
You can’t get lost with this fun little symposium take-away that serves as a reminder of all the show exhibitors.
